  1. Clean & flatten area around tree base
  2. Open tray along perforation line and place around base of the tree

The Tree Tray is designed to save water and help young trees grow faster. It is made of ultra-durable, high quality, multi-layered polypropylene resilient to the harshest field conditions.

The Tree Tray is easily placed around young trees or in vineyards around vines. It provides the young transplant with optimal conditions, allowing for enhanced growth and faster yield.

Thanks to the unique funneled surface, rain or irrigation water is collected and funneled directly to the roots of the tree, this means that 1mm of rain equals 20mm received by the young tree's root zone.

During the night, condensation of the air humidity occurs and the tree tray concentrates the dew inwards.

The unique shape of the tray underside locks in water evaporated from the soil, allowing it to condense on the inner ceiling and return to the roots. The air between the soil and the tray serves as an insulation layer from the outside temperature.

At times of extreme air temperatures, there can be a 10 degree Celsius difference between the inside and outside of the tray. When air temperatures drop, Tree Trays keep soil temperature higher and protect the trees from frost damage.

The tray blocks sunlight and stops weeds from growing around the base of the tree, this helps to significantly save on chemical herbicides and labour.

Tree Trays are a perfect complement to drip irrigation systems as it allows for water saving through precise irrigation. Even if the dripper or spray head is not perfectly located next to the base of the plant, the tray will still funnel water in to where it is most needed.
